The Story Behind ANIMA.

Some products are developed in a laboratory, while others arise from necessity.
ANIMA was born during a season of overwhelm, healing, and transformation. As a mother, licensed esthetician, and woman navigating life’s many responsibilities, I found myself searching for something simple something that could bring comfort, calm, and nourishment back into my daily routine.

Long before ANIMA became a brand, I began creating skincare for myself.
One of my first creations was a simple silk skin scrub made with jojoba oil and vitamin E. I shared it with friends and family, selling a jar here and there without realizing that those small moments were planting the seeds for something much greater.
Over time, my understanding of skin deepened. I saw how many people were struggling with sensitivity, irritation, damaged skin barriers, and routines filled with products that promised everything but left skin feeling worse. I began asking a different question:
What if skincare felt safe?
That question became the foundation of ANIMA.
The word ANIMA means soul, breath, and life force. It represents the connection between how we care for our skin and how we care for ourselves. I wanted to create products that did more than moisturize. I wanted to create rituals that invited people to slow down, reconnect, and nurture themselves with intention.
Every ingredient chosen for ANIMA serves a purpose. Botanical oils known for their calming and restorative properties were selected to support the skin barrier, nourish sensitive skin, and encourage a healthy, radiant complexion. Each formula is designed with simplicity, gentleness, and effectiveness in mind.
But ANIMA is about more than ingredients.
It is about creating a moment in your day that belongs entirely to you.
A moment to pause.
A moment to breathe.
A moment to remember that caring for yourself is not selfish it is essential.
My hope is that every bottle becomes part of a ritual that helps you feel grounded, comforted, and connected to yourself again.
Because at ANIMA, we believe one simple truth:
Skin should feel safe.
